Today after 7 weeks I ventured into town….It is like a ghost town, banks were open as was a small local veg shop, pharmacy’s, a health food shop, an electro domestic shop with a sign saying collection of pre order only but that was about it

Emotions are running wild these last few days, in fact they started last week, a bag of mixed emotions emerging from within but also seen in all that I spoke with. This weeks though are constant and different and I can’t quite name them, there is sadness, tiredness, and a wanting to let go of so many memories.

Today on May 2cnd the 49th day of our Lock Down we were finally allowed outside for 1 hr to take a walk or exercise! To celebrate the sun was shining once again for the second day, having just come home the exhilaration felt for this new found freedom after 6 weeks is still with me

Happy Beltane (Beltain) the Gaelic May Day festival, today May 1st around the world it is celebrated as the first day of summer, so today we have a Fiesta, a day when everything closes. Things are a little different this year as there is not much open to close!
